From time to time, you may see us testing new features around here. While we do all of our development on staging sites, occasionally we have to implement certain things into the live site and monitor how they’ll react with the rest of the site’s usability. One of the most important and intensive features we’ve been working on is ready to be unveiled… We would like to officially introduce you to our PostSnap module navigation.

If you own an iPhone, you’re familiar with the fetch feature that can retrieve your email periodically throughout the day from your mailbox and download it to your iPhone. PostSnap acts in the same way. PostSnap will retrieve posts from the community between every 5 to 15 minutes and display them on the MacBlogz homepage. Much in the same way the iPhone retrieves your email.

Here’s a quick rundown:

To use our new feature, simply start by pressing Previous Posts to load older posts in sequential order. You will now notice that 2 different headlines will populate the module. Don’t be alarmed, that’s supposed to happen.

From here you will be able to navigate even further back as well go forward by hitting Next Posts. If at any point you lose your place in time, not to worry, simply hit the reset button.

One last thing… To give you the heads up, if we notice bugs or see any funny business in the modules, or the way that PostSnap is working, we might temporarily take it down so that we can address these issues.

So thats it, we hope you enjoy PostSnap.
