The Mac Observer has posted a photo of what they suggest may be an upcoming revision to Apple’s iPhone. The changes described are cosmetic with the iPhone shedding its glossy exterior for a flat matte look.
Apple’s iPhone has been rumored to be staying on its normal release schedule with an upcoming revision in June or July of 2009. Claims of an iPhone dipping down towards a $99 iPhone have continuously made the rounds, and we know that an iteration of Apple’s iPhone is hitting China mid-may. Additionally, rumors of an iPhone nano will not die, even though Apple’s plans should, and most likely will, remain focused around what’s important.

Okay, first off. I don’t necessarily buy this photo. I don’t think it’s fake completely, but I don’t know if I completely believe this. Second, why is the iPhone text so shiny? and why did they have to put their watermark over the actual print? Come on guys! Be classy, put it on the bottom.

I want. NOW – but seriously, I’d pick this up in a heartbeat. the glossy is too shiny for me. although, I don’t know about a purchase like this based solely on cosmetic differences.

Only reason i see it could be a lie is to kill the sale of palm pre u kno send out a rumor and make ppl think why buy pre when iphone will bring something more advance out.cuz i was about to get iphone this week but now i am all stuck wondering what to do wait or just get the 2nd generation.
