Hey Matt, good points first of all. As a friend just put it to me “Wall E was a great film” — KFP not so much. I take it by the Wall E forums that you’re involved in, that you genuinely love and appreciate the movie for everything it has to offer. And yes, the underlying message with Wall E was much more powerful than KFP.

I was gonna say nobody thinks KFP is better than WALL-E, but clearly some crazy internet weirdoes do. Anyway, all you have to do is compare their critical scores, DVD sales, and well, QUALITY, to see that WALL-E is the best animated film of the year, beating out Kung Fu Panda by a lot. There’s a reason KFP hasn’t taken one of these home yet. It’s a good, cute movie. It’s not an amazing, cinematic gem. WALL-E is.
