It has been over 20 years since The Simpsons first appeared on our TVs, popularizing catch phrases such as “doh!” and “eat my shorts” that at one point had been synonymous with pop culture. It now appears that Homer and the gang are back in a big way as Season 20 (jeez has it really been that long) is now available on iTunes.
Season 20 can be purchased for $37.99, yet is not available in HD and is only accessible to a U.S. audience. The latest chapter of The Simpson’s dynasty began airing September 28 on Fox and included the infamous (m)Apple mockery episode, satirizing the cult-like phenomenon of Apple and Steve Jobs.
Now tied with Gunsmoke for the longest running American sitcom,The Simpsons have showed no signs of letting up. U.S. iTunes users can purchase season 20 here, yet there is no word of when it will be internationally available.

Yeah, Gunsmoke was a hilarious sitcom.
