Apple’s iPhone has definitely turned the mobile market on its head. As the device grows up and the lineup diversifies, Apple will need to loosen some control in order to gain marketshare.

The Elephant in the Room

This will be Apple’s last year attending the Macworld Expo, and CEO Steve Jobs will not be giving the final keynote speech. Although chaos ensued after the bombshell was dropped, for the most part the community has kept a clear head.

In the weeks leading up to Macworld, Apple’s product line seems pretty sound. Some leaks regarding Mac minis, the Apple TV and some questionable iPhone information has surfaced. Also, we might see a much more refined version of Snow Leopard than originally expected.

Any mouse apple makes is still garbage until they fix the horrendous pointer acceleration in OSX. It’s totally wonky. And when is apple gonna admit that people know how to use *2* mouse buttons?
