Apple Announces Black Friday Event on November 28th (as planned)

Apple New Zealand has started emailing their customers and announcing a special Black Friday sales event to be held for one day only on November 28th.

MacRumors points out that the sale has been more than expected. MacBlogz has had an anonymous commenter claim to know information regarding Apple’s upcoming Black Friday sales, however the info is very similar to that of previous years.

I would love to see a 200 dollar price drop for the macbook pro!!! I would get one. I think they will have great deals on the Imac to get ready for MacWorld!!!

@Jon: $200 price drop for the Macbook Pro wouldn’t be that big of a deal. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised what you’d be able to find (outside of black friday), especially with a little digging. Refurbs and so forth.
