Apple Officially Announces Macbook Event on October 14th, Sends Invites

Apple has sent out invitations to a Special Media Event to be held on October 14th. From the looks of the invitations, it’s safe to assume that “the spotlight turns to notebooks.”

The event will be held at it’s usual time of 10:00 AM, PST at the Apple headquarters in Cupertino.

Seeing as how Monday is a holiday, Apple Insider was safe to assume that these invitations weren’t coming, however it looks like John Gruber from Daring Fireball’s information was accurate. Apple seems to be ignoring that Monday is Columbus Day and still moving forward with the event, even though many thought the event wouldn’t take place because of the holidays.

Based on the late release of the invitations, MacBlogz speculated as well about the solidarity of the Macbook Event rumor. The latest round of information and leaked spy-shots have been confirmed as accurate. Additionally, MacBlogz has endorsed information we received, regarding the introduction of a “Chicklet” keyboard in the Macbook Pro since June.

NOW that;s why I tell everyone that Apple always does some unexpected ;) , right peoples??? Thank you so much for Apple for finally holding an event in the expected date, I want to see new MacBook Pro 17″ but in matte screen and lots of new features, I dont know , man i am flattered I cannot think of anything now
