According to Xeni Jardin from boing boing, the South Park guys have cooked up a killer iPhone app that he was lucky enough to test during a recent visit to the South Park headquarters.
For those of you who can’t get enough of South Park from Comedy Central, iTunes, and Imaginationland, an iPhone/Pod application is (almost) here for you. According to Jardin, “the application functioned beautifully, with the ability to stream live clips, grab wallpapers for your device, read news, and browse the complete episode index.” Although it seems that you can’t stream or download full episodes to the device. You can also choose character pictures to use as contact images….Therefore Cartman’s ugly mug can pop up every time your stoner roommate calls to borrow some money.

It’s nice to see people in the public eye, with a devoted fan base embrace new media and technology. The Obama app is awesome, this is great too.
