Apple Notebook Rumors Continue

October 14th has been pegged as the date for Apple’s upcoming notebooks to be released. New case designs have supposedly been spotted by a few lucky people. Continuing to fall in line with what we’ve heard, the new Macbooks and Macbook Pro’s are expected to be sporting a uniquely similar, aluminum enclosure.

More Frustration and Rejections From Apple’s App Store

Another would-be useful app was rejected from the app store this week, MailWrangler, allows the user to manage multiple Gmail accounts. But apparently it duplicates Apple’s Mail.app too closely, so it was brutally rejected. Additionally, various editors are pleading with Apple to release some control of their App Store, and to sweeten the deal, App Store rejection letters are now subject to NDA.

Apple Legal Team Turns On Email Auto-Responder

Apple gets sued again for poor iPhone performance. The new lawsuit alleges that Apple and AT&T are “deceptive, improper, or unlawful conduct in design, marketing manufacturing, distribution and sale” of the iPhone 3G.

Adobe Unveils Creative Suite 4

Adobe unveiled their much anticipated Creative Suite 4 this week. Among a slew of new features, this is a major overhaul to Adobe’s flagship products, not just an update. New multi-touch support was found for Apple’s existing trackpads, and Photoshop gets a major speed boost.
