A few last minute details have been emerging from both MacRumors and AppleInsider within just hours of Apple’s “Let’s Rock” event. iPod nanos are now expected to get size bumped from the current 4GB/8GB models to 8GB/16GB. Apple is also claimed to be releasing the nanos in 9 different colors for each model, up from the current 6 color options. The newly added colors are speculated to be Purple, Yellow, and Orange.
iPod touch sizes are expected to remain the same at 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB options. It is still rather vague what changes the second generation touch will have.

Additionally, Gizmodo received the image above from a tipster. We don’t know if these are real or not, but they surely look like some of Apple’s own product illustration/marketing material. However, once again, they could just be really good photoshop jobs.
