Besides the whole "got sold to a 3rd party developer" quote is kind of speculative, sort of leads people to form their own conclusions. Such as, Apple bought it... it's going to be in iTunes 8. etc.,. Either way, it definitely looks nice and compared to those WMP visualizations, oh jeez. It's in a league of its own. (as far as trippy music visualization goes) I can think of a few reasons why people would love this. I think the video above isn't the Magnetosphere visualizer itself, but rather a specific project custom designed for that song by the author, Robert Hodgin.
