Apple has sent out invitations, and confirmed the widely rumored Special Event that will be held on September 9th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Exactly one week from today.
The invitation shows a dancer holding an iPod, jumping in the air, with the tag-line “Let’s Rock.” The design of the email easily lends itself to the belief that new we can expect to see some new iPods.
About 20 minutes ago we published a post asking where the invitations were and showing that historically the invitations should be released today, or within the next few days. Well, here they are!
Previous rumors about a joint event, where Apple would release new notebooks and new iPods are most likely not accurate.
