In an email sent out tonight, Apple explains the following: “We have already made many improvements to MobileMe, but we still have many more to make. To recognize our users’ patience, we are giving every MobileMe subscriber as of today a free 60 day extension.” READ

Apple is now offering free replacements for all users that have been experiencing issues with their Magsafe Power Adapters.
Apparently the adapters are failing at a high enough rate for the company to offer up free replacements. All owners of a Late 2006 13″ Macbook, 13″ Macbook, 15″ Macbook Pro (Glossy) or 17″ Macbook Pro, whether the machines are out of warranty or not, are eligible. READ

Apple is expected to release a completely overhauled line of notebooks within the next month or two that should take advantage of major advancements in mobile computing technology. Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) analyst, Mike Abramsky, is expecting the Cupertino based company to ship just over 3 million Macs in the September quarter, which represents 41% year-over-year growth and 22% quarter-over-quater growth, up from previous estimates of 2.8 million.READ
