Cut-Copy-Paste has been a long awaited feature for the iPhone and following recent reports, there may be a glimmer of hope on the horizon. Moreover, a forthcoming application may take center stage, if Apple can give the OK.
MagicPad, a rich text editor that is currently awaiting App Store approval, may prove to be the application that many have been waiting for. Not only will it allow users to create customizable text documents in which fonts, text sizes, colors, bold, italic…etc can be configured to ones needs, but it will also support copy-cut-and paste. That’s right, MagicPad may soon be a viable option for use of one of the most basic yet currently unavailable features of the iPhone.

MagicPad has been developed by Proximi Inc., a relative newcomer to the scene, who has given appleiphoneapps.com a look into the motivation for the project.

While certainly handy, this is not going to bring true copy-and-paste to the iPhone, as there will not be any way to copy text between different applications. Although MagicPad does not support true system-wide copy-and-paste functionality, it is a step in the right direction.
