Back in May we reported that there may be a possible correlation between Steve Jobs’ flight expenditures and big plans for Apple. Basically, the more he spends, the more steam the Apple machine picks up.

The bill for Jobs’ Gulfstream certainly doesn’t go unnoticed, as it is included in each quarterly report. Towards the tail end of 2007, he apparently racked up a pretty sizable sum to the tune of $550,000. That number then dropped dramatically to $30,000 in the first quarter of this year.
Well, it looks like he’s at it again, as AlleyInsider has gotten wind of Jobs’ new flight tab and its up to $102,000. So what are we looking at here?
Perhaps he has made some recent visits to China and Russia in attempts to close the much anticipated iPhone 3G deals with carriers. Then again he may be off tinkering on some new glorious device to tie into Apple’s “future product transition”. While this may all be deemed as coincidence, I’m still all for it. Anything that tickles the fancy of investors and consumers alike, can’t be a bad thing.
One thing that we can be sure of, is the fact that a sick man would not typically be racking up the sky miles. This can only bode well for the overall outlook of his health, which has recently been reported to be in good standing.
