After successfully downloading the iPhone 2.0 Firmware, we downloaded Super Monkey Ball, MotoRacer and an application called To Do.
The below video is a test drive of MotoRacer and To Do from the App Store.
MotoRacer: $9.99
MacBlogz Rating: 3/5
Learning Curve: Medium
Notes: This game definitely takes some getting used to. The Gas button must continuously be held while you accelerate, however after about 10-15 minutes of use, the game starts to become enjoyable. It’s definitely a steep price, but expect most graphic/level heavy games to be on the more expensive side of things.
To Do: FREE
MacBlogz Rating: 2/5
Learning Curve: Extremely Minimal
Notes: We are sure to see a plethora of productivity apps come our way. And while we are going to keep searching for that perfect killer-productivity app we can’t live without, we simply have to say that this one isn’t it. I appreciate the simplicity and the decisions not to make this app a “feature-corpse” (which is an application stuffed with tons of useless features), but To Do leaves a lot to be desired.

Ok. Wait. Do you steer by tilting the iPhone? I mean…that is pretty insane. I guess I should have expected that…but I didn’t actually expect that.

Yup, the game uses the iPhone’s built in accelerometer. Same technology that makes the phone screen tilt and rotate.
