An Apple Employee has decided to make everyone anxiously drool all over their keyboards today. “Some lucky, lucky Portuguese man or woman has already had the pleasure of cracking open the box and booting up their new device,” Engadget reports.
This is a demo unit that an Apple Store in Portugal has received. Additionally, here in the states demo units are said to be arriving as early as today.

In all honesty, I appreciate the design of the current 2G iPhone more. I understand that with the lower price, and higher accessibility, some things would be different, but the back of the new phone looks…dare I say it…like every other phone out there.

Ya know man. I totally agree. I love the aluminum on the current iPhone. It’s just so nice.
I mean, I haven’t held this one, so I don’t know what it’s going to feel like. And maybe in a way people won’t get robbed for this one because you won’t be able to immediately tell it’s an iPhone.
But, the black is definitely more of a step towards being subtle.
JEEEZZZZ…. look at all those fingerprint smudges on the back of the new iPhone in the first pic.
