The iPhone is truly a revolutionary product, far more than just another mobile phone. It’s a wonderful development platform that you are predicting will change the mobile world forever and you may be right. Amidst all of these new and exciting releases and announcements, we, the Apple community, feel that a few rather important (staples of your product line) products have been neglected for some time now.
This petition is to show you: Apple, Inc., how many of us are truly waiting for, or feel that your Cinema Displays, Macbook and Macbook Pro cases are in immediate need of an overhaul.
As time goes by, the price gaps between you and your competitors are widening, especially with the displays. We are simply asking for the products to be refreshed or overhauled. Please acknowledge your devoted fan base and loyal customers by releasing some beautiful new hardware soon. We are not asking for a launch date, nor are we asking for specifics about the release.

At this point, I genuinely wonder what is taking them so long on all of this. The Displays are absolutely ridiculously overdue for an update.
Honestly, I’m just stunned. Kinda frustrated too.

The MacBook and MacBook Pro will most definitely be refreshed by this fall. There have been plenty of supply order rumors, etc to this effect. I don’t think a petition is necessary. As for the cinema displays, I’d guess my the end of the year as well, but who knows.

Do you see what’s wrong with this sentence? REFRESHED is what they keep doing to keep people quiet about the general lack of attention these particular machines have gotten. If you spend 5 minutes reading devoted Apple forums or browsing around the community, you’ll understand how many complaints people [we] have about this issue. The frustration is amounting to borderline insanity! haha
The bottom line is: From the sharp edges of the notebooks that hurt your wrist, to the ridiculous latch closure, to the awful archaic keyboard, the Macbook Pro needs an overhaul. The Cinema Displays are simply a joke at this point. The only thing Apple is relying on at this point, is the shiny metal exterior and their flashy logo to sell those things. Anybody with any common sense would deviate towards a cheaper model with equal or better resolution. And it probably would have a camera too.
It is 100% guaranteed that Apple is currently working on these particular products, or is damn near being complete with new models for us. Either way, I think this is beyond a marketing ploy, and more like them not being able to settle on designs, features and the overall launch of a product.
Whether it be because of the immense perfectionism at Apple, or because they have other things planned, we will know when they want us to know, and we’ll know what they want us to know. And that’s just how it’s going to go.

NEW CINEMA DISPLAYS!!! PLEEEEASE!!!!
My Mac Pro can´t understand why its head and face outward towards the world is´nt keeping up and shining like the rest of the market. My Mac Pro is indeed lacking a Cinema Display that will make it shinny and happy again!!!
The CP overhaul is indeed overdue! How many months/years has it been now…. It´s riddiculous!!!
