How about voice calling? I used to own a Motorola phone that had voice activated calling which I loved. It was hands free dialing, saying either the number or a persons name. If multiple matches occurred, it would prompt you to select through the list. I loved it. The iPhone still doesn't have such. This would be a biggy in my book. While driving and using a headset, voice calling is a natural.

I agree with the Author. Why weren't these obvious gaps in iphone features addressed first? Hopefully 3rd party developers will come up with a solution. My biggest grip is lack of SMS forwarding, cut & paste and MMS. Video recording seems easy and obvious as well. Hopefully these features will show up in the app store. Its irrating tho that Apple leaves out these most basic features. Why hasn't any journalist asked Steve/Apple about this stuff?

A 2 megapixel camera is plenty for a phone. I would like to see some improvement in the QUALITY, but not the size.

Actually Ashoka, check this out. http://monsterandfriends.com/iphonevideo

It was developed for the current iPhone OS, but it shows that this feature is definitely a possibility within the hardware/software.

A2DP Bluetooth support [for stereo audio over Bluetooth]. To eliminate the tether between the iPhone and my ears when I listen to music. It's stupid that Apple still only supports mono-Bluetooth audio.
