On tonight’s episode of NBC’s hit tv show The Office, Michael decided to shop at Amazon.com rather than iTunes. hmmmm, I wonder why. Looks like NBC’s not done crying about this one, they seem to be whining to whoever will listen….Oh, by the way, we’re listening.
In case you didn’t know, Apple and NBC have been battling it out for quite some time now about the method and pricing of NBC’s digital content being delivered. Apple says that NBC is asking for higher prices…NBC denies that and says they want piracy protection… Apple sticks to saying NBC wanted higher prices… NBC has removed their content from iTunes and opted to sell it on Amazon.com and Microsoft’s Zune Store? Yup, the Zune Store.

Looks like they’re really hammering this home. NBC really wants to make a statement about their content and iTunes as a whole.

My, how perceptive you are. I am not quite sure I would have noticed that on my own. NBC is for sure sending a loud message…something like, “HEY iTUNES, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN YOU!” I think that with a company as large and established as NBC, they don’t like the idea that they can’t get everything they want.
What I want to know is…If NBC and Apple were at war with in eachother (completely fictional) who would win???
