I'm glad you agree. I would imagine that FullTilt would be the first to jump on board given its the only site that is Apple friendly. All others are PC exclusive.

HAHAHAH !!! Andrew !!! you know how amazing a mobile PStars client would be ? It wouldn't have to be a full blown mobile version of the game. Ultimate Bet has these mini-views that they allow you to view on your desktop (basically a mini table). I think PStars could whip something like this up for the iPhone 100%. We've been talking about this as well. It would be amazing !!! Good Call !

How about some mobile FullTilt Poker on the iphone. FullTilt and Poker Stars make enough to throw at&t or verizon a kick back. It would increase traffic and the poker companies would make more. This could possibly be my gambling addiction talking.

I think mobile tv would be an amazing addition to the beloved iPhone. However, like you said, The Steve probably won't be letting anything encroach on his iTunes sales anytime soon.

Am I the only one who wants to listen to Howard Stern on my iPhone? We have Satellite Radio over here and Howard is a staple. If only we had this in our Apple devices. Somewhere in my gut, something is telling me that this would be a very welcome addition to iPod's and the iPhone.

ATT and Verizon's mobile TV services are getting some decent buzz. A person could then have in one device a phone, iPod (music, podcasts, vidcasts, shows, movies), full internet experience, full e-mail (and someday chat?), and a TV set.

I doubt we'll see it though. I can't imagine Steve letting them stick an antenna onto an iPhone, nor particularly enthusiastically incorporate technology that lets users watch video content with no inducement to spend money at the iTunes Store.

More requests: a 3MP camera, flash (photo flash, not "Flash"), video recording, CC quality sound recording like iPod Classics, blue tooth stereo profiles, "universal landscape keyboard," more memory, wireless sync -- and being able to recharge itself by shaking it vigorously in your hand (that last one's a joke, if you couldn't tell)

Andrew, that's what I was saying myself. If Skype were available on the iPhone than it would mean that it was being used through a wi-fi connection. How would this translate for Apple too ? They get a monthly cut from the carrier rates as well.

It's certainly not black and white. The attractiveness of Skype comes from the fact that its free. If they begin to charge you to use it on a mobile phone what is the advantage of using skype to place your calls in the first place? As I mentioned before, what we ultimately would like is a pocket sized laptop. Currently, with a wireless card and subscription, you could simply take your laptop out and call whomever you want through skype to another skype user. If this were available on an iphone, people would simply buy the cheapest carrier plan with unlimited wireless activity. I think this fact will eliminate the possibility of skype being available on your phone.

I think that a true GPS would amazing. I also have a Garmin and it seems to always be real spotty. The interface definitely needs some work and if Apple got their hands on it, it would really take it to the next level.
