I don't think The Dalles really has any idea what's about to hit them. This means the possibility for The Dalles to become a regular and known stop on the technology map. Small business will flourish and newer and larger chains will move in....meaning more jobs overall(not just the future google employee hopefuls.) I can't wait to see how The Dalles, a glorified truck stop (sorry to all locales), will take advantage of this amazing new direction the development of this small town will inevitalby go in. Regardless of anything, for Google to move into any town, however big or small, means BIG money. Small business will flourish and newer and larger chains will move in….meaning more jobs overall(not just the future google employee hopefuls.)
