According to Engadget, a local AT&T employee had released a memo sent to employees that could provide clues to the next-gen iPhone’s summer release date. A similar memorandum was released to AT&T employees at around the same time last year, beseeching them not to take vacation time from June 15 - July 15, suspiciously similar to the dates of this years request of June 15 - July 12.
The memo was claimed to have cited “an exciting Summer Promotional Launch,” indicative of an iPhone launch. Engadget reveals implications that a possible release date of June 29th, the one year anniversary of the iPhone’s initial launch, may be in store.
