Both Telecom Italia and Vodafone have announced agreement signings with Apple to offer the iPhone to the Italian market. This is clearly indicative of Apple’s abandonment of single carrier usage policy established in other international markets.
No new details have been divulged concerning an exclusive 3G iPhone distribution by a single mobile carrier. Yet, according to MacRumors, Telecom Italia may hold the exclusive right to carry the iPhone several months before any competing operators.
