According to Computerworld, T-Mobile has confirmed Apple Inc.’s imminent release of a 3G iPhone, and claims that it’s Austrian consumers would be among the first to obtain the new handset. On Monday, Der Standard, an Austrian news publication quoted a T-Mobile Austria Spokesperson at a press conference in Vienna, claiming that an Austrian 3G release should be available “soon”. Moreover, they claim that Austria has played an integral role in Apples test of a 3G network.
They have also announced that they will provide newer “more flexible” service plans for the next generation iPhone. T-Mobile Austria is a branch of Deutsche Telekom and is Apple’s exclusive network partner for both Austria and Germany.
