Although the iPhone’s camera boasts a meager 2 megapixel camera, a far cry from the 3-5 megapixel handsets in competition, it has recently become apparent that the iphone is the most popular mobile device for uploading images on Flickr.
Computerworld, has recently reported a story in conjunction with Flickr’s data supporting the claim that the iphone has overtaken both it’s Sony Ericsson and Nokia counterparts. It’s recent surge as the clear front runner used on the photo storage megasite, shows a testament to the iPhone’s internet usage popularity. The fact that it has been able to overtake the previous mobile leader, the Nokia N95, which boasts a 5 megapixel camera with integrated flash and auto-focus features, truly highlights the iphone’s primary strength – mobile Internet.
